Following up on the recent Sci-Fi/Fantasy evening reading of Timecrack, which was held in Waterstone’s Belfast store, I was invited to give a talk on my books to some of the pupils from Sullivan Upper School, in my home town of Holywood.
I have to say I was delighted with the interest shown in Timecrack, which was used as a project to discuss and review a number of aspects of the book, including how the science and fantasy elements were woven into the story. Posters by the pupils and some penetrating questions were a fascinating insight into how they perceived the main characters, and how they survived in an alien world. Hopefully, they will find Copanatec just as entertaining.
The venue was Holywood Library and I have to express my thanks to Jo Quinn, the branch manager, for her invitation and organisation of a very rewarding morning with the pupils.
